stk100 vs glock 17

Stk100 Vs Glock 17 - Out of the box, the RIA STL100 includes a number of bells that are commonly installed on polymer-framed pistols. Yamil Sud

Do you remember buying a polymer-framed assault pistol only to spend even more to customize it to your needs? Yes, everyone does. Add frame weight, lighten the frame, change the grip angle, add a beaver, add optical options - the list goes on and on. You can almost triple the original price of the weapon. Today, gun manufacturers offer pistols with all of these accessories as standard. A prime example is the new RIA STK100, a multi-purpose factory pistol that sets a new benchmark for this trend.

Stk100 Vs Glock 17

Stk100 Vs Glock 17

The RIA STK100 is what I would call a 99 percent compatible Glock pistol. Its compatibility extends to almost all internal parts, except for the sights, barrel lock, magazine release and pins.

Review: Rock Island Armory Stk100

Some of the nice features of the RIA STK100 include cutouts to reduce weight, an ergonomic grip angle and checkerboard, an optical glass and a comfortable trigger guard. Yamil Sud

The STK100 has a list of features that put it in a class of its own. It features a folding aluminum alloy frame, textured 1911-style grip, extended beaver, stainless steel guide rod, lightweight bolt action with forward cocking, Glock-style optics and front sight.

The only feature I'm ambivalent about is the rear view. While I like the low-profile serrated front sight and its wide, square cutout, the fact that it is attached to the optic mounting plate means you lose the front sight when mounting the optic. I would like the view and the label to be independent parts.

The gun comes with two Glock compatible KCI USA 17 round magazines, so if you are like me and have a good selection of Glock 17 magazines, you are good to go.

Handgun Review: The Rock Island Armory Stk100

This close-up shows the wide trigger area, frame screws, and the texture of the grip panels. Yamil Sud

One of the significant improvements to the RIA STK100 is the absence of frame studs. An original Glock has three studs to attach the barrel assembly, trigger, and trigger guard/ejector. The STK100 replaces these pins with screws. I'll take a bolt that's properly torqued with a little thread lock on a stud that could fly off with recoil any day. The overall weight of the gun is excellent, at a very comfortable 33 ounces with an empty magazine versus the standard Glock 17's 25 ounces.

The grip is a folding aluminum frame, and I was a little skeptical at first, but when I got the gun, my fears were allayed. Of course, there is a seam, but the two pieces fit perfectly and the seam is barely noticeable. The sides of the grip are checkered and grippy enough without being too aggressive, while the front and rear grip straps have a very nice and comfortable serration that's just about perfect. And the 1911-style grip angle is what dreams are made of. The back of the grip sits right between the arched and flat design of the mainspring cap of the 1911, and to me it's just perfect.

Stk100 Vs Glock 17

The sight is a functional square notch with horizontal teeth, which is an integral part of the optical plate. Yamil Sud

Rock Island Armory Stk100 Striker Fired Pistol Announced

I went to C2 Tactical in Scottsdale, Arizona to evaluate the accuracy and reliability of the STK100. To gauge accuracy, I used Federal 147-grain Syntech practice match ammunition with a claimed muzzle velocity of 1,000 fps and 326 ft-lbs of energy. I also tested Federal Personal Defense Punch ammo with a 124-grain projectile with a claimed muzzle velocity of 1,150 fps and an energy rating of 364 ft-lbs. I shot the pistol at 10 yards using the Ransom International Multi Cal Steady Rest, which is a solid machined aluminum platform that takes most of the human influence out of the shooting equation. With the Federal Personal Defense Syntech practice match ammo, I got a 1.36-inch 5-shot group, and with the 124-grain Federal Personal Defense Punch ammo, my groups came down to a very nice .980-inch caliber.

To gauge reliability, I set up a Gunsite silhouette target at 7 yards and did some practice with the Federal 147-Grainer. I shot guided pairs, ramming pairs, and drills. Every shot was in the intended target area and I experienced no malfunctions with the ammo, magazines, or the rifle itself.

I have also shot this bolt action rifle a lot and the factory trigger is nice with a crisp break. The trigger has a flat surface and the centrally mounted rotary safety sits flush when pressed, which is nice. The trigger on the mine breaks at a very comfortable 4.5 lbs.

Thanks to the lightweight bolt and aluminum alloy frame, the rifle is perfectly balanced - the weight is concentrated on the frame, not on the front of the bolt. This allows the bolt to move quickly and the recoil controlled for quick follow-up shots.

Rock Island Armory Rolls Out The Stk100, Their First Ever Striker Fired Pistol

While this gun is near perfect, its compatibility with Glock parts means I can still make some changes. I want to use it in stock configuration for a while to get used to its handling and performance, but I think a gold or brass front sight and some Apex tactical parts may find their way into this gun in the future.

In summary, this STK100 is a keeper. Rock Island Armory has taken the classic Glock design and features and refined them to create a much more comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and ergonomic pistol. You get many of the best features shooters want—and pay a lot of money for—in a package that won't break your savings account. MSRP is $599. It works great as a competition, recreational, and self-defense pistol, and I wouldn't hesitate to use the RIA STK100 for everyday carry as well.

Molten Echo is a great drop in Flameshadow Conjuring. I keep ME, but not Flameshadow. Great Warrior Radha is always good for big mana in token decks. Can we substitute mana geysers instead?

Usually, in my experience, the deck's biggest weakness is that it has no card advantage if you unload very quickly, because you always have too much mana and an empty hand.

Rebellion costs 1 more, but is a massive upgrade on Mob Rule. Of course, if your budget is important, the difference is less than $8 and $1.

Instead, you can use Aggravated Assault, which gives you unlimited combat potential when paired with Great Soldier Radha.

aggravated assault nj

Aggravated Assault Nj - Assault charges in New Jersey basically fall into two categories: simple assault and aggravated assault. Often, the type of harm caused and/or attempted and the status of "victim" determines which assault a person is charged with. The type of assault charge plays a large role in the potential sentence a person can expect if convicted. For example, if a person is charged with simple assault, which is considered disorderly conduct, they could face up to six months in county jail. Conversely, if a person is charged with aggravated assault, which is an indictable offense, they could face up to ten years in prison, depending on the extent of the charge. See below for more information on possible penalties for assault charges in New Jersey.

New Jersey, which overhauled its bail system in 2017, has no bail system comparable to the federal system. Essentially, New Jersey has done away with cash bail and now focuses on risk assessment when determining a bail requirement. As one can imagine, a claim of personal assault can be problematic for risk assessment. Worse still, if the incident had been classified as an 'act of domestic violence', the person would almost certainly have had to spend at least twenty-four hours in Somerset Prison for the pre-trial service to carry out a risk assessment. Depending on the risk assessment and the underlying nature of the charges, prosecutors must decide at the individual's central court hearing whether to seek formal detention. When prosecutors seek detention, it means they are trying to convince a judge that the defendant should be held in county jail without bail pending trial. All simple assault charges are handled in the local municipal court of the municipality where the incident occurred. For example, if someone is charged with simple assault at the Bridgewater Commons Mall, their case will be heard in Bridgewater Municipal Court. Conversely, if individuals are charged with aggravated assault at Bridgewater Commons Mall, their case will be transferred from Bridgewater Municipal Court to Somerset Superior Court in Somerville. Based on the underlying facts of the incident, the aggravated assault charge can be reduced to simple assault and sent back to the local municipal court. Once the charges are downgraded, they are no longer considered indictable crimes, but rather misdemeanors.

Simple assault is a misdemeanor in New Jersey, and it is our misdemeanor. If convicted, people face up to six months in Somerset County Jail, a fine of up to $1,000, anger management, community service, probation and a criminal record. Aggravated assault charges, on the other hand, are charges, our version of a felony. To make matters even more complicated, aggravated assault charges can be considered second-, third-, or fourth-degree felonies. As noted above, the type of injury caused/attempted to be caused and the person (e.g., police, teacher, EMS) determine the extent to which a person can be charged. Depending on the degree, individuals can face up to ten years in prison, a fine of up to $150,000, community service, anger management, probation and a criminal record. Yes. Both simple and aggravated battery charges can be grounds for a temporary restraining order in New Jersey. If a temporary restraining order is issued, it will be in addition to the criminal charges. In other words, they are two different problems. All temporary restraining orders are filed in the Clerk's Office of the Family Division of the Superior Court in the county where the incident occurred. For more information about a temporary restraining order, including what it takes to make a temporary restraining order final, click the link.

Aggravated Assault Misdemeanor

Assault is a violent crime in Minnesota. Generally, the severity of the crime of assault in Minnesota depends on the extent of the injury to the suspect and the relationship (if any) between the suspect and the suspect. The suspect does not have to be injured to identify the suspect.

Attacks involving people living under the same roof can be considered domestic attacks. Harassment charges range from first-degree assault to fifth-degree assault, depending on the severity of the offense and the circumstances involved.

The term 'simple' assault is a bit of a misnomer, as all charges are aggravated assault, and convictions can result in severe penalties. Simple Attack is a "garden type" charge attack. To be convicted of a felony or misdemeanor misdemeanor in Minnesota, a defendant must do one of the following:

An assault that causes only temporary injury to the suspect - or no injury at all - is a felony.

In order for a defendant to be convicted or convicted of assault, the defendant must have used a deadly weapon with the intent to injure another person. Felony weapons can include a vehicle, a gun, or any other object, such as a baseball bat. As a result of the attack, the suspect must suffer a temporary or permanent injury.

Describe your case to receive a free and confidential initial case estimate. We are available 24/7 so you can get the help you need quickly. Assault and battery are two crimes that are often charged together, however they are separate crimes with different elements. Although modern jurisdictions often combine assault and battery into a single statute called assault, the crimes are still distinct and often have separate classifications. The Model Penal Code calls both crimes assault, simple and aggravated (Model Penal Code § 211.1). However, the Criminal Code Model will not distinguish between assault and battery for purposes of value. This section examines the elements of both crimes, including possible defenses.

Battery is a crime that includes the elements of the crime, intent to commit a crime, attending circumstances, causation, and harm as discussed in the sections below.

In most jurisdictions the essential criminal act of battery is unlawful touching, often defined as physical contact (720 ILCS § 12-3, 2011). This element of the crime is what distinguishes assault from battery, although a person can be convicted of both crimes if he commits a separate act that is supported by reasonable intent. The suspect may touch the victim with a tool, such as shooting the victim with a gun, or hit the victim with a thrown object, such as a rock or bottle. The suspect may also touch the victim with a vehicle, knife, or other object, such as spitting on the victim or spraying the victim with a pipe.

Recall from Chapter 1 "Introduction to Criminal Law" the example where Chris, a new employee at McDonald's, spills hot coffee on the hands of his customer, Geoff. Although Chris did not touch Geoff with any part of his body, he did inject something he touched illegally.

Man Arrested After Police Say He Spit On Them

Depending on the jurisdiction, the requirement for the battery varies. At the beginning of the common law, battery was intentional or intentional touching. Most states follow a common law approach and require specific intent or willfulness, or general intent or willfulness (Fla. Stat. Ann. § 784.03, 2011). Some include reckless intent (K.S.A. § 21-3412, 2011) or negligence (R.I. Gen. Laws § 11-5-2.2, 2011). Lawsuits involving negligence or negligent intent generally require actual injury, grievous bodily harm, or the use of a deadly weapon. For the purpose of accounting, it is the act of a person who intentionally, intentionally, or unintentionally. recklessly causes injury to another, or "causes injury to another with a deadly weapon" (Model Penal Code § 211.1(1)(b)). If there is negligence and intent.

Study the example with Chris and Geoff in Part 10 "Battery Law Example." Let's say that Chris's act of pouring hot coffee into Geoff's hand happened when Chris tried to multitask and at the same time he was pouring coffee. Chris's act of physically touching Jeff with the hot coffee may support negligent intent because Chris is a new employee and may not have been aware of the danger of spilling coffee while multitasking. If the circumstances in which Chris' discharge occurs do not include negligence in the battery statute, Chris may

, Chris will not be charged with battery unless the coffee burns Geoff's hand badly. Hot coffee can't kill and probably shouldn't be considered a deadly weapon.

Aggravated Assault Misdemeanor

The most important factor for battery in most jurisdictions is that the act of touching occurs without the victim.

Nguyen 1cuong Nguyenautobiographical Memoirmay 16,.docx

. So the victim's consent can be a failure of proof or an effective defense in some factual situations.

Remember from the example in Chapter 5 "Crime Defense, Part 1" where Allen tackles Brett during the high school football game, causing Brett to get seriously injured. Although Allen intentionally touched Brett, causing serious bodily injury, Brett voluntarily consented to the touching by participating in a sporting event where physical contact occurred.

. Therefore, the battery element is absent and Allen cannot face charges for this crime.

In addition to consent, there are justification and excuse defenses to battery which are discussed in detail in Chapter 5 "Criminal Defenses, Part 1" and Chapter 6 "Criminal Defenses, Part 2". To summarize and review, the justifications for battery are self-defense, protection of property and residence, and lawful arrest of criminals. One defense to battery that Chapter 6 "Criminal Treatment, Part 2" examines is insanity. There is another excuse to protect the battery.

Code (720 ILCS § 12-3, 2011). Some jurisdictions require actual injury to the victim (Ala. Code § 13A-6-21, 2011). Severe damage can increase the rating, as discussed in Section 10 "Battery Grading."

Aggravated Assault Misdemeanor

Study the example in Section 10 “Battery Law Example” where Chris pours hot coffee into Geoff's hand. If Chris and Geoff are in a situation that requires it.

Simple Vs. Aggravated Assault And Battery

But for the victim as an aggravated battery, Chris will not be charged for the crime until the hot coffee is injured in Geoff's hand. If Chris and Geoff are in a position that allows harm to happen.

Contact, Chris can be charged or convicted as long as intent battery exists, as discussed in Section 10 "Intent Battery."

At common law, battery is a misdemeanor. The Model Penal Code classifies battery (also called simple assault) as a felony unless "a fight or conflict occurs by mutual consent, in which case it is a misdemeanor" (Model Penal Code § 211.1(1)). Model panel code points

Battery (also called aggravated assault), battery with a deadly weapon causing serious injury or bodily harm, as a felony of the second or third degree (Model Penal Code § 211.1(2)). Many states follow the Model Penal Code by classifying battery that causes a crime or bodily injury as a felony (720 ILCS § 12-3, 2011) and battery as a misdemeanor.

Airplane Mobile - So about four years ago I had the bright idea to gift my friend her shower. We don't have any money for now, so I decided to sew her this banner and clouds and then have my husband make our painted model airplane. Then we went to his house and installed it for him. A great gift for $15. I told him on Friday that if you ignore 2 days straight, Aaron would have to work on a model airplane because it had 1000 pieces and had to be glued together. The shower was on Sunday. He is truly a saint.

So now that it was our little one's turn, I knew our nursery needed it too. Luckily for Aaron, we've got a vintage airplane here at Target, so he didn't have to build a model airplane this time. At least not yet :D

We mostly stick to basic colors in her room, especially to balance out all the neutral colors I have for walls and furniture. I chose my separate fabric for the banner and then adhered it with navy ribbon to tie everything together. I cut them into oversized triangles, put the pieces back to back, then sew them together

Spinning Airplane Mobile

Then I took the navy ribbon and sewed it to both sides of the triangles I made, so you don't see any unfinished edges. I hang everything from the ceiling using fishing line and push pins so you can't see it and minimize damage to the ceiling.

Next I created the clouds. Obviously I'm not great at drawing clouds, so these were a bit of a challenge. Same idea for these once I get them to a semi-decent size, hopefully I'll stuff them like little pillows and then hand stitch the opening.

Finally we join the plane! I can't tell you how happy Aaron was not to build a model airplane, at least on an unfair timeline!

I love how it all came together! It plays up to the height of the ceiling, adding another element of travel to the room and is fun and different that you don't see in every nursery. I'd love to see some of the nursery ideas you've created, or if you've tried it, I'd love to see the results!
