I mean, there are complications in creating a weapon. The first thing you need to know before building a Polymer80 gun is to bring patience to the table. Failing to do this or building impulsively can cause serious problems with your new build and cost you hundreds of dollars in replacement parts. Ask how you know. (We are guilty of this.)

Depending on how well you removed the last 20% of guns to get your 80% to 100% Glock frame, this should be smooth as butter. That means there's only going to be a short time for the weapon.

It is not recommended to use your Polymer80 Glock as an EDC gun unless you have about 1,000 rounds of ammunition in it. Once you have a full break-in of the gun, you are confident in yourself that it can be a serious firearm, and only then should you replace your current EDC with this weapon.

I ran into some problems with the weapon before I got to the range. Let me make one thing clear. The problem we face is a result of the U.S.E.R. It is an error and not a defect in the Polymer80 system itself. The polymer block for the guide rod was not drilled properly and as a result the spring came. It's an easy enough fix though, and only costs a few minutes to tool the frame.

But once that problem is solved, It goes exactly as you would expect a Glock to operate. We had a few misfires the first few hundred rounds, but the weapon kept running and they quickly went away due to compression failures. All that was said There isn't much you can say about the Glock platform that hasn't already been said a thousand times.

Make sure you give your P80 enough time to break in the system before carrying it around every day. Once you're confident in your ability to break in and rotate the weapon, you're good to go.

Remember above when we said that one of the best things you can bring to a Polymer80 build is patience. We're not kidding. There are a number of common problems that can occur when you're building one of these, and your problem may be different from someone else's.
